“PICNIC IN THE PARK”
Saturday- JULY 4TH, 2026
Cambria’s American Legion Post 432 is proud to announce the upcoming 4th of July, Picnic-in-the-Park celebration at Shamel Park.
It is time to SAVE THE DATE. The event will begin with the Opening Ceremony at 11 am at the flagpole and feature the games, events, music, and food we all have come to appreciate. The community and visitors clearly have expressed their enthusiasm for our 4th of July festivities, so we look forward to your attendance. This year’s event will run until 5 pm which will provide plenty of time to travel to see one of the other community fireworks displays.

Day of event Details:
We kindly ask to not bring grills for the safety of our community
All animals to remain leashed
NO fireworks – Event will go from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Food will be available / American Legion Post 432/ Cambria Rotary/Linn’s Restaurant
Traditional events such as the Waiter/Waitress Races
Pie Eating Contest
Bounce House for the kids provided compliments of the Cambria Lion’s Club
Face Painting
Children’s Games

We are in full planning mode for the 4th of July Picnic in the Park! This year marks the 250th Anniversary of our country, and we are expecting a huge turnout.
We are asking all of you, your friends, your significant others and other family members — to come out and help make this event a success. It’s a BIG undertaking, but many hands make light work. There are plenty of tasks to fill and lots of shifts available throughout the day. The work is easy, we just need volunteers willing to lend a hand.
Please sign up for a shift if you can. Your help and support are greatly appreciated, and together we can make this a fantastic celebration for our community!
